INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a woman died in a crash on Indy's south side Saturday morning. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, around 2:40 a.m., officers responded to the 3800 block of Todd Road on a report of a crash. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a green Kia that crashed into a tree. Investigators said an adult female died in the crash. IMPD indicated that no other individuals or vehicles were involved in the crash. IMPD investigators are stilling looking into the crash. The agency indicated that the Marion County Coroner's Office will release the name of the decedent once her family has been properly notified of her death. As of this article's publication, no additional information on the crash had been made available.
