A female MTA worker was sucker-punched on Friday inside a Harlem subway station, cops said. The 66-year-old woman, who was on duty at the time, was standing on the platform inside the W. 148th St.-Lenox Ave. subway station when she was socked in the face by an unidentified man around 1:15 p.m. The worker was transported by EMS to Harlem Hospital where she was in stable condition. Soon after the assault, the attacker fled out of the station and has yet to be caught by police. It remains unclear what, if anything, sparked the attack. Surveillance photos shows the assailant wearing a black Nike hoodie and blue backpack. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
