CSP: Hwy 24 crash in Hartsel puts four in hospital

(PARK COUNTY, Colo.) — According to the Park County Sheriff's Office, a head-on crash closed US Highway 24 in the town of Hartsel around 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18. COTrip said that the road was closed between Cold Row Road and Washita Road at Mile Point 237.
Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said that the crash involved two vehicles, and the driver and passenger of each vehicle were transported to the hospital.

According to CSP, as of around 9:15 a.m., alternating traffic was being allowed to pass in the westbound lane.
Around 9:30 a.m., COTrip said the road was reopened to traffic.
