INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after two people were arrested following a shooting on Indy's far east side Saturday morning. According to the Cumberland Police Department, just after 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the 11000 block of Knollridge Court on the report of shots fired. This is near East Washington Street & Woodlark Drive. When officers arrived, they located two individuals running from the scene. Officers quickly apprehend the individuals. Officers discovered afterwards that one of the suspects had been shot. They were transported to an area hospital in stable condition, according to police. No additional information was released.
