County Parks to implement slight increase in fees in February
Jan 17, 2025
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Outdoor enthusiasts will see a difference in price for the first time in a decade for some user fees at San Diego County parks next month.
Starting Feb. 18, camping, parking, fishing permits, boating rentals and sport facilities will increase slightly, the County of San Diego said.
Prices like Day Use Parking will increase from $3 per day to $5 per day, while RV partial hook-up campsite will increase from $29 to $35.

"The increase helps Parks keep pace with rising costs while continuing to deliver best-in-nation outdoor and recreation spaces at a good value when compared to similar park systems," the county said, adding the fees will also include up to two pets and one extra vehicle as part of the camping reservation.
County Parks & Recreation offers 158 facilities across more than 58,000 acres of land and 389 miles of trails.
