Menominee City Police find shoe and footprints related to missing woman, water searches have been suspended

MENOMINEE, Mich. (WFRV) - The Menominee City Police Department says that after searching, they've found an item and footprints related to a missing woman.
According to a Facebook post from the Menominee Police Department, they are investigating the disappearance of Lisa Pipp, who went missing after an incident on the ice of Green Bay on January 13.

According to her boyfriend, the two argued, and Lisa walked away from their vehicle toward the open water despite his attempts to stop her. After leaving to seek help, he returned to find Lisa missing. Authorities have since launched a search effort.
First responder drones were deployed to survey the area, and search teams followed footprints found near the shore. The post highlights that a shoe believed to belong to Lisa was discovered on the rocks, along with footprints leading to open water.
The post says no footprints were found returning, indicating she was alone at the time.

The Michigan State Police Dive Team conducted an underwater search using sonar but was unable to locate Lisa. Due to difficult weather conditions, police are saying the search has been suspended.
The Menominee Fire Department tracked the footprints on the ice, and Enstrom Helicopter Corporation provided helicopter support for the search.
At this time, there is no evidence of foul play. The investigation continues, with authorities reviewing new leads and evidence. No further information has been provided.
