(WFRV) - The state of Wisconsin lost an icon on Thursday with the death of Brewers announcer Bob Uecker, who touched the hearts of all who listened to his broadcasts for over a half-century. But, nationwide, many knew him not only as an iconic broadcaster but as one of the stars of a beloved baseball movie, 'Major League.' Uecker played the play-by-play announcer in the movie, with one of the most iconic lines in sports film history. "Juuuust a bit outside!" To honor the late Bob Uecker, Marcus Theatres announced that they'll be bringing back the movie 'Major League' into their theatres at multiple locations in the Fox Valley as well as other locations in Wisconsin from January 24-30. Northeast Wisconsin mourns, reflects on the legacy of the late Wisconsin icon Bob Uecker Each ticket will cost $5.40, with portions donated to the Milwaukee Brewers Foundation. The $5.40 is a tribute to Uecker's 54 years as the sound of summer and the voice of the Brew Crew.
