Cooler, calm weekend weather with another Santa Ana wind event on the horizon

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Onshore flow has been restored in Southern California, but higher humidity will weaken into the weekend.
An area of low pressure continues to push east, but is responsible for bringing back some moisture to the atmosphere and some cloud cover Friday.
This weekend will be cool with daytime highs generally below normal this time of year with the exception of mountains and deserts.
2025 Farmers Insurance Open: How could winds impact the tournament?
The marine layer and low clouds will rebuild along the coast and some inland valleys in the evening and morning hours for the next couple of days, but sunny afternoons are expected.
Beaches and valleys will top out in the low to mid-60s this weekend.
Beyond Sunday, the marine layer will really only impact the immediate coastline.
Next week, we will go back to a dry and windy pattern with Santa Ana winds setting up again. The weather models generally point to a moderate wind event Monday and Tuesday with another weaker event mid-week.
