WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- The International Flipper Pinball Association will hold its Open and Women’s Kansas State Championships in Wichita this weekend. The tournament will be held at The Arcade, 906 E. 3rd in Old Town. Pinheads will compete for a chance to play in the North American Championship Series. Players earn points in league and tournament play throughout the year to earn one of 16 invitations to the state tournament. Over 500 men and women competed in tournaments in 2024. Kid Rock coming to Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena The state tournament features a head-to-head bracket format with best-of-seven matches in each round. “This is an incredible milestone for Kansas pinball,” Derek Sorrells, co-owner of The Arcade, said in a news release. “We’re thrilled to bring the state championships to Wichita and showcase the top talent from our state. It’s an exciting opportunity for players and fans alike.” The tournament runs from Saturday through Sunday.
