SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is remembered each year with a federal holiday observed on the third Monday of January. Here in the Hostess City, the civil rights leader is honored with an annual parade organized by the Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Day Association. This is the 44th year of the celebration. The parade will begin at the intersection of Liberty and East Broad streets, travel through downtown and end at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Anderson Street. For the full parade route, visit here. Starting at 10 a.m. Monday, WSAV will broadcast the parade live on our CW channel, with the presidential inauguration on Channel 3. We'll also stream the parade live on this page, with a replay available after it ends.
