ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police arrested a 50-year-old man accused of soliciting sex from a 14-year-old human trafficking victim. According to police, William Cates saw the victim along Central Avenue and offered to give her a ride. Cates then took the victim to a local hotel room, and police said he paid her to have sex with him. Detectives learned about Cates while they were investigating two people, Tajahnae Maryann Johnson and Roderick Norseweather, who were arrested on human trafficking charges.
