Law students at UNM sworn in for criminal case practice in Metro Court

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Law students at the University of New Mexico were sworn in on Friday and they'll be getting training on real cases. The university's clinical law school program is returning to Metro Court.
Man pleads guilty to federal charges for killing New Mexico State Police officer
Students will be practicing on misdemeanor criminal cases. Licensed attorneys will be keeping an eye on them. This is the first time the program has been back since the pandemic.
