Man charged with threatening Farmington district court judge

FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – A San Juan County man was charged with threatening a district court judge in Farmington.
The judge told investigators that Francisco Cabral followed him in a SUV when he was headed to Farmington District Court, according to court documents. While driving, Cabral allegedly showed the judge, who was in another car, a picture of his son and reportedly yelled at the judge, saying he was going to kill him.

According to court documents, the judge had taken on a juvenile case involving Cabral's son. Investigators said Cabral's behavior also caused all Farmington Courts to close partially on Tuesday and all of Wednesday.
