NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — Two men are facing charges after police raided a New Bedford home on Monday. Alexander Sears, 39, and Jose Lacen, 25, were arrested following a fentanyl distribution investigation that led detectives to an apartment on Belleville Road. During the search, police seized 141.6 grams of cocaine, 4.9 grams of fentanyl, two loaded guns, drug distribution supplies, and $1,700 in cash, according to New Bedford police. (Courtesy: New Bedford Police Department) Lacen is charged with trafficking 100 grams or more of cocaine, unlawful possession of a large-capacity firearm, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, and unlawful possession of ammunition.
