VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Human remains were found inside a home on Eaglewood Drive on Friday while police were responding to a missing person case. According to officials, officers responded to the 1000 block of Eaglewood Drive on Friday in reference to a missing persons case for Vicky Kay Cartwright, who was reported missing in 2023, police said. During the search, human remains were found inside of the home. It is currently unclear if the remains are of Cartwright. Photos from the scene show a heavy police presence and the area taped off.
