Chiefs vs Texans: What to know for NFL AFC Divisional round at Arrowhead
Jan 17, 2025
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Houston Texans on Saturday for the AFC Divisional at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs will play the fourth-seed Houston Texans, who secured a 32-12 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
This will be the Chiefs' second time playing the Texans this season, as the two teams recently met less than a month ago in Week 16. The Chiefs won that game 27-19 at home.

The Chiefs will be itching to play as they’ve acquired plenty of rest, with many of the starters having not played since Week 17. Andy Reid has an excellent track record coming off of bye weeks in the postseason, as the Chiefs are 4-0 since Patrick Mahomes became the starter in 2018.
For Houston, this is their second straight year in the Divisional Round. They’re led by second-year QB CJ Stroud and head coach DeMeco Ryans.
