Person of interest detained after woman found dead with trauma INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police have detained a person of interest after a woman was found dead from trauma injuries at a home on Indianapolis’ near northwest side. Online police reports show Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched just after 1 p.m. Friday to the 2800 block of Questend Drive South for a death investigation. That’s in the Burris neighborhood off Kessler Boulevard North Drive near Marian University. They arrived and located a woman suffering from unspecified trauma injuries in the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene. IMPD says it detained a person who was later taken to a hospital for “self-inflicted injuries consistent with trauma.” Police say a public information officer would provide more information once available.
