EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Fire crews quickly put out a fire in South-Central El Paso on Friday afternoon, Jan. 17, a fire department spokesman said.
Crews responded to the fire at about 2:45 p.m. along the 100 block of South Stevens. Originally, the Fire Department said the fire was along the 3700 block of Alameda.
One person was rescued from the fire and was evaluated. There were no injuries.
Eight fire units and 21 firefighters responded and the fire was put out at roughly 3:05 p.m.
The cause of the fire is undetermined. Investigators are on scene looking into the fire.
