(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) said a man has been sentenced following a plea deal related to a sexual exploitation of a child case investigated in 2024.
According to PCSO, in March 2024, Alonzo Gutierrez was arrested along with a minor as the result of a months-long investigation of Gutierrez and a girl taking explicit photos of another girl and then sharing the photos.

Gutierrez's sentencing is related to his plea of attempted sexual assault on a child. Gutierrez was sentenced to four years of probation, and is not allowed to have any electronic device with internet access and must register as a sex offender.
“Our detectives did a great job investigating this case and they were able to obtain some serious charges in this case, which were ultimately pled down to lesser charges,” said Pueblo County Sheriff David J. Lucero. “However, the work that was put into investigating this case demonstrates our commitment to ensuring those who engage in sexually exploiting children are held accountable for their actions.”
