Louisiana state offices closed on Tuesday due to winter weather, potential snow

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- All state offices will be closed Tuesday as Louisiana is forecasted to have extremely cold weather and a potential for a wintry mix early next week.
Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry released a video to remind citizens of some winter safety tips.
"Remember the four P's: people, pets, plants and pipes," said Landry. "Make sure your loved ones and neighbors have the supplies they need and stay off the roads when it's icy."

All state offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 21 due to winter weather, according to Commissioner of Administration Taylor Barras.
