PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Roger Williams Park Zoo’s six-banded armadillo Josephine, whose pregnancy the zoo recently announced, was found to have experienced a miscarriage. Josephine was receiving regular ultrasounds and check-ups and was not showing signs of complications until this past weekend. She displayed changes in her behavior that prompted an ultrasound where the sad news was confirmed, according to Roger Williams Park Zoo.
