"The Buckeyes have been here before and will make easy work of the Fighting Irish to reign as National Champs," DeWine said in the post. "I am so confident that the Buckeyes will win that I am willing to bet Ohio’s famous Marsha's Buckeyes." In response to DeWine, Braun said he would take Notre Dame's 11 championships over Ohio State's eight. "I accept your challenge, and I will wager a bundle of Indiana-made sweet treats featuring items from the South Bend Chocolate Company, headquartered in Notre Dame’s hometown of South Bend, Indiana," Braun said in the post. "The State of Indiana is proud of the success of our Fighting Irish and look forward to their victory in the College Football Playoff National Championship game!"
