Austin's MLK Jr. community march canceled due to cold weather

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Martin Luther King Jr. community march has been canceled and the festival that usually followed the march has been rescheduled with cold weather expected in Central Texas next week, the city of Austin said Friday.

The march was originally planned for Monday. This is the second year in a row that the march was canceled due to freezing temperatures.
The festival will now be held at Huston-Tillotson University at 11 a.m. on Feb. 1.
