TEACHEY, N.C. (WNCT) -- North Carolina law enforcement officers are looking for an inmate who left a work release Thursday night in Teachey in Duplin County. They said Kevin Worsham, 44, is a 5-foot 10-inch, 180-pound male. According to the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, Worsham was in minimum custody at the Carteret Correctional Center. He has a criminal record dating back to 2004, including a past sex offense that requires him to register as a sex offender. Worsham was currently serving a sentence for failure to report an address change to the sex offender registry, breaking and entering and larceny.  He was scheduled for release in December of 2025.
