Vacant home fire on Laser Street leaves one hospitalized

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – One person has been transported to the hospital following vacant house fire on Laser Street Thursday night.
According to the Rochester Fire Department, crews responded around 9:28 p.m. and found smoke coming from the vacant home.
RFD said there was one person found inside of the home. That person was evaluated by EMS at the scene and taken to a nearby hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.
The road was taped off at Joseph Avenue near Pardee Street and has since re-opened. AMR and Rochester Fire Department both responded to the scene.
RFD has yet to release the cause of the fire, or further details on the person found inside the home. Although vacant, the home is now deemed uninhabitable. There were no more injuries reported as a result of the fire.
