Sundance Mountain Resort to open new Mountain Camp Day Lodge
Jan 16, 2025
Sundance Mountain Resort, the mountain resort at the base of Mt. Timpanogos, has announced the opening of the Mountain Camp Day Lodge. The facility centralizes essential ski services, including ticketing, rentals, ski school, retail, and ski patrol access, the resort said, while introducing the Mountain Camp Cafe for dining and refreshments. The Day Lodge, coupled with 200-plus new parking spaces and improved access to Jake’s Lift were added over the past couple of years.“The Mountain Camp Day Lodge represents a pivotal upgrade to the Sundance Mountain Resort experience,” said Chad Linebaugh, president and general manager of Sundance Mountain Resort. “Positioned strategically beside Jake’s Lift, this new facility transforms how guests access and enjoy our mountain. From seamless ski-in/ski-out access and amenities day skiers need under one roof to incorporating natural and upcycled materials, we’re connecting the past of Sundance Resort to the future, specifically with our local skiers and riders in mind.” Upcycled materials play a central role in the lodge’s décor, the resort said. Reclaimed wood from around the resort has become tabletops, and lighting fixtures are crafted from glass blown on-site, which the resort said reflects its commitment to local craftsmanship and sustainable practices.More information on the grand opening, scheduled for Jan. 18 at 8 a.m. with a ribbon cutting, can be found here at sundanceresort.com/events/mountain-camp-day-lodge-grand-opening/The post Sundance Mountain Resort to open new Mountain Camp Day Lodge appeared first on Park Record.
