HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Deputies are searching for a masked suspect after a 35-year-old man was shot multiple times in Hanover County on Thursday. Just after 6 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, deputies with the Hanover County Sheriff's Office were called to the 10300 block of Colonial Estates Circle in the Glen Allen area for report of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, they found an unidentified 35-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. According to the office, deputies gave him medical care until first responders with Hanover County Fire and EMS arrived. They then took him to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening. Deputies searched the area for the suspect, whom they were told ran away from the scene before they got there. They could not find him. Over $2,000 in jewelry stolen from Chesterfield store Authorities are asking for help in locating the suspect. The descriptive information deputies received was limited: a Black male wearing all-black clothes and a mask.
