Thibodaux man arrested following drug bust

THIBODAUX, La. (WGNO) — A has been arrested following a drug bust that happened in Thibodaux on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
According to the Thibodaux Police Department, officers with the narcotics division, criminal investigations division and patrol division performed a search in the 200 block of Sanders Street following a long drug investigation and a traffic stop that happened prior to the search.
New Orleans drug investigation leads to three arrests
During the traffic stop, 25-year-old Raheem Terrell Green, of Thibodaux, was allegedly found with a small amount of marijuana, and was arrested.

While searching his Sanders Street home, officers reportedly found two pounds of suspected marijuana, 35 gross grams of fentanyl, two pressed fentanyl pills, two digital scales, packing materials and a fully automatic Glock 9mm with a 30 round magazine and additional ammunition.

Green is awaiting bond at the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex, where he is being held on charges of illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of a CDS (felony), possession with intent to distribute marijuana (felony), possession with intent to distribute fentanyl (felony), handling of machine guns unlawful (felony) and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (felony).
