ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) -- The Arlington County Fire Department’s Office of the Fire Marshal said a man was arrested for arson. On Jan. 15. Timothy Clark Pollock was arrested and charged with three counts of arson-related offenses that took place in the 500 block of 23rd St. South. The investigation began on Jan. 9 after a series of businesses along 23rd St. South was set on fire. Arlington man arrested for assaulting firefighter, peeing in public while intoxicated, police say Officers from the Alexandria Police Department arrested Pollock on Thursday morning just before 7 a.m. He was then transferred to the custody of Fire Marshals and the Arlington County Police Department where he is being held without bond. Pollock is also facing more charges for other unrelated crimes still being investigated.
