FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An alleged member of the Norteno gang who was wanted after a law enforcement operation in November targeting street gang members has been arrested, according to the Kings County Sherriff’s Office. Deputies say Jaime Aldaco was one of a few Norteno gang members that avoided apprehension during "Operation Royal Flush" a coordinated law enforcement effort targeting members of the gang. During the operation on November 14, 2024, multiple search and arrest warrants were served for the arrest of Norteno gang members. Aldaco was one of a few Norteno gang members who avoided capture and has since been on the run. The Kings County Major Crimes Task Force has been actively attempting to locate Aldaco.  On January 15, 2025, officials say the Kings County Major Crimes Task Force Investigators located Aldaco at the Hanford Walmart and attempted to place him into custody.  Aldaco ran from investigators but was apprehended after a short foot chase. Deputies say they found a loaded 9mm ghost handgun located. Deputies say he also had in his possession several small zip-lock bags with what is suspected to be cocaine.  Aldaco is a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms and is currently on Kings County PRCS. Aldaco was booked into the Kings County Jail.
