The virtual K-12 school -- the only one offered in the county -- is accepting applications through Jan. 31, according to the school division.

Virtual students can still participate in sports and other Virginia High School League-approved activities from their home schools. According to the release, there are also various opportunities to spend in-person time with their peers and academy staff.
