PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — WPRI 12, FOX Providence and The CW Providence are once again teaming up with Meeting Street and Cardi's Furniture for the 49th Annual Meeting Street Telethon. It's an evening of fundraising and fun co-hosted by 12 News' Shannon Hegy, Mike Montecalvo and Tony Petrarca, along with students from Meeting Street's schools. Watch live on WPRI 12 from 7–10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, or stream the telethon right here on WPRI.com. The annual telethon raises money for Meeting Street, a Providence nonprofit that operates multiple schools in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts with the aim of providing "educational, therapeutic and developmental services" for children of all ages with disabilities and special needs.
