GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) -- A Gloucester man was arrested in his home and sentenced for the human trafficking of two 14-year-old girls in Utah. In October 2022, a search warrant was put out in Utah for a suspect with a residence in Gloucester. On Oct. 26, 2022, the warrant was executed in Gloucester by the Sheriff's Office. During the search, law enforcement found digital evidence. 29-year-old Ryan Randolph was taken into custody on outstanding warrants obtained by the Utah Attorney General’s Office. 29-year-old Ryan Randolph Randolph was extradited back to Davis County, Utah, where he remained until trial. During the trial, the victims testified that Randolph pretended to be a young girl to gain their trust and subsequently introduced them to another person who offered to pay them for nude photographs. They testified after sending nude pictures, Randolph extorted the two juveniles to engage in explicit acts while he recorded it via video chat. He was charged with two counts of first-degree human trafficking of a child, two counts of aggravated sexual extortion, one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of second-degree enticement of a minor. In less than six hours, he was found guilty on all his charges. WAVY has been informed he was sentenced, but is reaching out on the exact length of the sentence.
