NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) - A group of 8th graders got a tour of their local police station along with some lunch and dessert during a presentation. The Neenah Police Department shared a post on Facebook talking about their day spent with 8th-grade STRIVE 2B students from the Neenah Joint School District. Eight Wisconsin schools, libraries selected to participate in nationwide FCC program The STRIVE 2B program is run by the Rotary Club of Neenah for students with a focus on leadership, wise choices and encouraging success in the classroom. Students in attendance got to meet with officers who served walking tacos for lunch and caramel apples for dessert, with a presentation and station tour included in the activities. Chief Aaron Olson introduced the students, and then multiple officers and talked about their respective jobs on patrols, investigations and community policing work.
