Juvenile arrested in connection to Wisconsin shots fired incident

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southern Wisconsin have arrested a 16-year-old in connection to a November 2024 shots fired incident in Sun Prairie.
According to a release, the Sun Prairie Police Department, with assistance from the Dane County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant on Thursday at a residence in the 600 block of Elizabeth Lane. During the search, officers recovered a stolen firearm and ammunition.

While the firearm has not yet been confirmed as the weapon used in the November 2 shooting on Ernest Avenue and Gerald Avenue, the juvenile taken into custody was reportedly present at the scene of the incident.
The 16-year-old was arrested for possessing a firearm as an adjudicated delinquent and was transported to the Dane County Juvenile Reception Center.
