(CNN)– TikTok could find a lifeline in President-elect Donald Trump. As of right now, the app will be banned if the company cannot secure an American buyer by Sunday, Jan. 19. But some sources say that Trump is considering giving TikTok more time to cut a deal that is far from certain, though he has recently said that he wants to keep the video sharing app alive.
