LaMelo Ball leads Eastern Conference guards in AllStar fan voting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball leads all Eastern Conference guards in fan voting for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, the NBA announced Thursday.
This is the NBA’s third fan voting return and Ball led all Eastern Conference guards with 1,908,967 votes. The next closest is Cleveland Cavaliers’ guard Donovan Mitchell with 1,554,204 votes.
Ball became the fourth-youngest player in NBA history when he was named an All-Star in 2022, only behind Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Magic Johnson.

Ball is averaging career highs this season in points (29.6), field goals (10.3), 3-pointers (4.4) and free throws (4.5), in addition to logging 5.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.4 steals across 26 appearances. His scoring average ranks fourth in the NBA and is on pace to set a Hornets single-season record.

All-Star voting concludes on Monday, January 20th. NBA All-Star Game starters will be revealed on January 23rd with reserves being announced on January 30th.
The All-Star Game takes place in San Francisco on Sunday, February 16th.
