MINOT, ND (KXNET) — The Minot Area Diaper Pantry is making moves to expand amid a growing need in the community. The pantry was first started back in December of 2023 by a group of women at the Cornerstone Church after the closure of Project BEE. However, the pantry quickly started to run out of space due to the very high demand for diapers, so the pantry is now located in the basement of the Regency Center in downtown Minot. Sports betting bill brought up again in state legislature It serves anywhere from 200-300 families a month with packs of 20 diapers that a family can stop by and pick up once a month. Co-founder of the pantry, Amanda Lund, says since a major change happened in January, they can now do more good for folks in the area. "In January, we received our nonprofit license, where we now have access to a company called Baby Baby, where we can get half a semi-load of diapers twice a year from them, which is a community grant. So, we're hoping to get that transferred over from Project BEE to us," said Lund. For more information on the Minot Area Diaper Pantry click here. Close Thanks for signing up!
