BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- The family of LSU freshman quarterback Colin Hurley released a statement after his car accident. According to ESPN, Hurley, 17, was found unresponsive but breathing by campus police early Thursday morning after a car crash near the university. The family of the football player from Jacksonville, Florida said they are confident he will make a full recovery in a statement. Read the family's full statement below.
