Shooting near Baton Rouge store leaves one woman hurt, police say

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting on N. Acadian Thruway that left one woman hurt.
According to the police, officers responded to a reported shooting near a local convenience store on N. Acadian Thruway around 3 p.m. Thursday.
The woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials confirmed.
