Man found shot in apartment in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is injured after he was found with a gunshot wound in an apartment in Richmond's Southside.
At 8:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 1400 block of Treehaven Drive for the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound inside of an apartment.
Police said he was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials said detectives have determined that the man was shot after personal items were stolen from him.

In August of 2024, a 43-year-old man was killed in a shooting on Treehaven Drive, and in September of 2024, a 24-year-old man was shot and killed on the same road.
