From Cold to Warm and Rain to Snow!
Jan 16, 2025
This forecast has a little bit of everything!
We have another day of bitter cold today before some big changes to the weather! Temperatures start in the teens, but highs will be in the low 30s by the afternoon. We’ll see clouds increase this afternoon as well. A storm skirting southern New England will also throw a few snow showers our way after sunset! Keep that in mind if you’re getting on the roads this evening.
Tomorrow, clouds decrease and we’ll have some sunshine by the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s.
Temperatures continue to get a boost into the weekend– highs both Saturday and Sunday will be in the 40s. However, there’s a price to pay for that warmer air, and it comes in the form of precipitation.
Our next storm will bring rain to southern New England late Saturday afternoon. Showers continue into Saturday evening. The rain won’t be exceedingly heavy, but it’s also a tad inconvenient for any Saturday evening plans. Have the umbrella handy!
Then, have your winter gear ready for the following storm, which is on the heels of Saturday’s storm! It arrives late Sunday night, and while it won’t hit us directly, it’ll brush southern New England enough that late Sunday night and Monday morning, we could see some accumulating snow. We’ll have more throughout the week!
