Authorities searching for wanted suspect in Powell County

CLAY CITY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Powell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who allegedly left the scene of an accident with injuries Wednesday night.
Deputies are searching for Jimmy Baker, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant for a parole violation, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities say Baker ran away following the accident near Powell Road 82 and was last seen walking toward Clay City.
Officials urge anyone who sees Baker not to approach him but to call 911 immediately.
