1 person dead, 2 deputies hurt in Forsyth County crash

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — An investigation is underway after a Wednesday crash night crash resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two Forsyth County Sheriff's Office deputies.
The crash took place sometime on Wednesday night on the 5800 block of Reidsville Road in Forsyth County.
Two FCSO deputies were injured as a result of the crash and one person died.
North Carolina State Highway Patrol has assumed investigative responsibility for the deadly crash.
FCSO Chief Deputy Henry Gray Jr. released the following statement:
“The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office was impacted last night by a motor vehicle crash in the 5800 block of Reidsville Road in Forsyth County. As a result of the accident, two of our deputies sustained injuries, and there was one fatality of a citizen. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is responsible for investigating vehicle crashes. A loss of life is always a tragedy, and our hearts go out to the families and all those affected by this incident. Thank you for the continued prayers for a speedy recovery of the impacted deputies.”
