Pleasant temps Thursday, mild cooling trend by the weekend

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The weather in Kern County is staying dry and warmer than usual today; however, a cool down is coming for the weekend.
By Monday, temperatures will be back to seasonal normal.
Weather Wednesdays: Studying the wildfires and drought
Keep an eye out for some stronger winds in the Mojave Desert Slopes starting Friday afternoon through Saturday morning, with gusts possibly reaching over 45 miles per hour.
We might even see some freezing temperatures next week, along another Santa Ana wind event, with no rain in the foreseeable future.
