(WSPA) - Governor Henry McMaster signed an executive order that would direct flags over the State Capitol and state buildings to fly at full-staff from sunrise until sunset on January 20 in honor of President-elect Trump's inauguration.
The flags were initially directed to remain at half-mast until the 28 of January to honor the passing of former president Jimmy Carter.
McMaster stated that after the inauguration, the flags would be returned to half-mast to continue honoring Carter's passing.
