Woman wanted after taking over $1,000 from purse in Visalia, police say

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A woman is wanted in Visalia after allegedly taking money from a purse and leaving it in the restroom at a Best Buy store in Visalia, the Visalia Police Department said.
Officers shared a social media post on Wednesday, asking for the public's help in identifying a female suspect that they named "The Purse Snatcher."
Police say a woman was in the Best Buy on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia when, according to surveillance video, she spotted a purse sitting on the counter near the register, took the purse and over $1,000 in cash, and tossed the purse in the restroom.
