PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it is investigating after a shots-fired incident on Wednesday. On Wednesday night, officers responded to reports of shots fired around the Washington Park area. Investigation after the incident showed that a vehicle was struck by gunfire, which then crashed near the intersection of California Avenue and Michigan Avenue, according to police.
