Dog taken in Northeast DC, police searching for suspect

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it is searching for a dog that was taken in Northeast D.C. on Jan. 12.
MPD said that around 12 p.m., the dog wandered off in the 800 block of 26th Street, when someone took the dog and left.
The dog, named “Kodi”, was last seen wearing a gray reflector vest and a Christmas bow.

Kodi is described as a Goldendoodle that is missing part of its left paw and has a split left ear.
