ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — One person was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Ladue Road in the Town of Sweden Wednesday evening, deputies announced. Ladue Road was closed from West Sweden Road to Redman Road for the investigation. The area has since been reopened. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, around 3:30 p.m. deputies were called to the scene where they discovered a single vehicle crashed into a tree. Fire and EMS crews were called to the scene minutes later, confirming the 74-year-old driver, a Brockport resident, had died. It appeared as though the driver suffered a medical event when the crash happened, deputies announced.
